Growing up in Cork, Ireland, LYRA was drawn to music from a young age, finding inspiration in artists like Kate Bush, Florence + The Machine, and Hozier. Her early musical experiences, coupled with a passion for storytelling, laid the foundation for her future career in music.
LYRA made her debut in 2018 with the release of her first single, “Rabbit in the Headlights,” which garnered attention for its haunting melodies and poignant lyrics. Since then, she has continued to captivate audiences with singles like “Falling” and “Mother,” showcasing her powerful vocals and introspective songwriting.
With a growing fanbase and critical acclaim, LYRA has quickly become one of Ireland’s most promising musical talents. Her debut EP, “W.I.L.D,” released in 2019, further solidified her place in the music scene, earning praise for its lush production and heartfelt storytelling.
In addition to her solo work, LYRA has collaborated with various artists and producers, expanding her musical horizons and exploring new creative avenues. Recently, she took part in the Irish Women In Harmony collective release ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ charity cover in tribute to Sinéad O’ Connor.
