ANNA DEVINE

Anna Devine has been a consistent presence on the Irish music scene with her versatile catalogue ranging from Soul to Jazz; Classical to Irish Traditional; and Gospel to Rock. The Dublin/ Donegal singer has crafted her own unique style which reflects hints of different genres, yet is distinguished by her haunting vocals and intriguing developments within her works. Anna’s powerful voice  reveal an imaginative world of enchanting mystery and beautiful magic as songs transcend into crescendo landscapes, commanding your unaltered attention.

After graduating with a BA First Class Honours Degree in Music and Business from NUI Maynooth, Anna’s commitment to expanding her repertoire grew as she steadily recorded and gigged with an impressive catalogue of artists. 2015 saw her tour with The Riptide Movement, wooing crowds in London, Glasglow and Hamburg as well as Holland’s Eurosonic Festival and the Benicassim Festival in Spain. Her versatile focus widened when she began to frequently perform with the RTE Concert Orchestra; under conductor Andy O’Callaghan and The Celebration Singers, and more recently, under conductor Stephen Bell for Thin Lizzy Orchestrated.

Anna has recorded in established studios including Beechpark and Windmill Lane and she is no stranger to broadcast either. Her appearances on TV include The Late Late Show and The Voice of Ireland while she has also lightened up the airwaves on Today FM, joining forces with The Riptide Movement once again, when she sang and played keyboard on their cover of ‘Jolene.’

Since 2010, Anna has been one of the main soloists in the Dublin Gospel Choir, sharing the stage with credible artists ranging from Ennio Morricone, Kodaline, Dermot Kennedy, West Life, OutKast.  Dublin Gospel Choir have blown away audiences at the likes of 3 Arena, Electric Picnic, Vicar Street and Croke Park, to name a few. 


Whether she’s in a recording studio or performing live, Anna’s soaring voice can take a song’s emotion to new heights, communicating its subject remarkably. It’s impossible not to feel something when listening to her sing.
