SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS, THE FESTIVAL FOOD OF KALEIDOSCOPE 2025!
Calling all future foodies! The Scrumdiddlyumptious Festival of Food returns to Kaleidoscope Festival once again, with an incredible programme of foodie experts and champions from across the island, bringing their tricks of the trade to teach all the future chefs about pizza, seafood, sweet treats, and much, much more. Get the aprons on and the rolling pins out and let’s all make something super delicious!
Plus, for the big kids at Kaleidoscope, Scrumdiddlyumptious will have an adult grape juice tastings (!) to help the weekend fly by. A joyful mix of food workshops, music, wine, and most importantly, porridge. Where else would you want to be? It’s got to be the ‘Scrum @ Kaleidoscope.
This year Scrumdiddlyumptious welcomes renowned chef JP McMahon for the first time, and Jp is bringing his West Coast Seafood Masterclass eastwards to Wicklow.
9beanrow authors Jolene and Lils Cox, and Michelle Darmody will teach the kids the basics of growing and cooking your food by yourself. Superstar baker Caryna Camerino of the brilliant Camerino Bakery, host of Ireland AM cookery, and owner a new shop in Blackrock, County Dublin returns for the second year to bring some fun to the Scrumdiddly’ tent.
And, of course, we just can’t have Scrumdiddly’ without The Cupcake Bloke, Graham Herterich himself, who brings his incredible cupcake decorating workshop to brighten up the festival.
Samantha Forrest of Fussy Foods will bring the out the most curious in the fussiest of foods, and Tango Streetfood, the pizza masters of Killarney, will showcase a pizza masterclass that is not to be missed.
Polish Wine Fest, Ireland’s first Polish wine importers, will host a wine tasting of Polish Wines for the big kids at the festival.
All this, plus the ever present Porridge Party, the legendary Disco Picnic, and Kids First Art Class! Scrumdiddlyumptious Festival of Food 2025 is not one to be missed!

- The famous Porridge Party returns to Kaleidoscope at the Scrumdiddlyumptious stage. Come and get a bowl of porridge and boogie into the start of your festival day!
Saturday 11:00: No bake strawberry cheesecake cups with Jolene and Lils - Join Jolene and Lils Cox, who will teach the kids the way to make a tasty no bake strawberry cheesecake cup!
Saturday 12:00: Seafood Workshop with JP McMahon
- Join renowned Irish Chef JP McMahon in learning all about Irish seafood and techniques you can use to make it tasty and fun to eat!
Saturday 13:00: Pizza Party with Tango Streetfood
- Pizza World Champion contenders Tango Streetfood will bring a pizza party to the kids of Kaleidoscope where the kids will get to make up their own pizza and eat it too!
Saturday 14:00: Draw the world’s largest bowl of Fruit
- The world’s largest bowl of fruit returns to Kaleidoscope, come and discover your inner artist, take some time to chill out during your busy festival day and relax, grab some pencils and show off your skills in drawing.
Saturday 15:00: Decorate a Cupcake with the Cupcake Bloke
- Come and join Graham Herterich, best known as The Cupcake Bloke, in learning how to ice and decorate a cupcake! Best of all, you can eat it afterwards!
Saturday 16:00: The Disco Picnic
- Bring your lunch and we’ll provide the tunes at the Scrumdiddlyumptious disco picnic!

- Caryna Camerino, of Camerino Bakery will bring the fun and madness to Scrumdiddly’ once more. After last years brilliant pie eating contest, Caryna will challenge the kids to design and create their own sauce which they’ll get to take away with them. Sauce on!
Sunday 12:00: Fussy Foods with Samantha Forrest
- Come and kick those fussy food habits with this wonderful workshop from Samantha Forrest. Explore different foods and ways to introduce those different flavours into your everyday life.
Sunday 13:00: Seed to Supper Workshop with Michelle Darmody
- Join Michelle Darmody, author of Seed to Supper, to learn the basics of growing your own foods, from Seed all the way to your Supper.
