Gomba

Gomba is a new collective and education project founded by Justine Nantale. Gomba engage schools and students throughout Ireland providing tailored cultural programmes through music, drumming, storytelling and entertainment — for a more diverse learning experience for both primary and secondary level.

Justine Nantale, an educator and singer, utilizes music as a tool for development. Born in Gomba, Uganda, she is a creative and dynamic facilitator with 10 years of experience delivering high-quality workshops and events. Highly competent in coordinating programs, she arrived in Ireland in 2003. Justine is the founder of Gomba Educare, a school’s outreach program tailoring cultural programs to schools throughout Ireland. The programs engage students through music, movement, and storytelling at both primary and post-primary levels. Justine is a founding member and former Musical Director of Discovery Gospel Choir, Ireland’s leading intercultural choir.

Gomba Eduacare will lead an intercultural workshop at Kaleidosciope bringing a variety of traditional songs/stories from all over Africa.
